Meet the Teacher
I am Denise Bowden, the seventh grade math teacher on the Purple Team at MVMS. Several years ago I came to teaching from the engineering profession. I hope to make math more interesting and engaging through the rich Connected Math curriculum and by bringing into the classroom my experiences as a civil engineer. I believe that through exploration and self-discovery students will build connections between math and other subjects and the world that they know. Visit the "About Page" to learn more about me.
